Building Insurance Renewal
I took out and paid for six months building insurance cover. The renewal has arrived and when I checked the actual policy, they have incorrectly listed it as a 12 month policy. They say it was an admin error and the 12 months does not stand. It is their error , but do I have any case to insist they abide by the 12 months.?

Saga: If you don't renew we won't insure you!
Every year without fail I tell Saga not to renew both my car and buildings and contents insurance for the usual reasons. However, 75% of the time a new quotation from Saga best suits my pocket and needs. However, they have now introduced a policy of not permitting those who choose not to renew obtaining a new quote within…

Marmalade Car + Insurance
I'm not sure what to think of this because although I'm not the most worldly experience I like to think I'm not gullible! Marmalade car insurance offers this deal of a new (ish) car and insurance, fitted with a black box. It's 36 - 48 month contract I'm interested in and it would be monthly payments of £190 - £210…

Dissatisfied with Friends Life.
In October 1977 I was persuaded to take out a Life Assurance policy with Colonial Mutual Life, at a very low monthly payment that was easy to maintain over the many years until the present. This policy was to mature the day before my 65th birthday, which happened recently. I have had other policies with other companies…
