To buy or not to buy? That's the question!
Hi, This my first posting....so here goes. Can anyone help me? I am considering buying a new oven / hob. But I think I have heard rumours that there may be a reduction of VAT in the coming days / weeks. Any reduction in VAT would save me a reasonable amount. Have I dreamt this or is it probable? If so when is it likely to…

Demonitised coin

Ice cream float ice-cream
does any clever person know where to get PROPER ice-cream for proper ice-cream floats? Not the mushy yellow kind out of the supermarket deep-freeze: I mean the super-smooth pure white stuff with tiny ice crystals that just gently fizzes in your cherryade instead of turning into a disgusting mush?

fixed price energy prices - do they go down?
I recently agreed to the fixed energy rates as the prices were hiking up very quickly. Todays news suggests they may start to come down again. Will the thieving pirates still hold us to the 3 yr deals at inflated rates if they do drop? I know they will charge to come off the rates early.

Credit reference agencies and rights as an individual.
Do credit reference agencies have the right to hold information on an individual post bankruptcy? Since the individual no longer has any live accounts at the time the petition has been granted, it seems to me to be against the freedom of information act? Can you just opt out of the three main agencies and get on with your…
