Inappropriate Estate Agent. Normal??
My partner and I had an offer accepted on our first house about three weeks ago. We are in a strong position with mortgage offer and solicitor appointed. However... the EA keeps bugging me over the phone, asking for the number of my mortgage company etc. She won't give me a straight answer as to why! It's all in process…

Reposessed house question..
Hi, Just a quick question. I've put an offer in on a reposessed house. I've been told that it was rejected because I need to have a 5% deposit. As I understand it the vendor is legally obliged to take the highest offer, is this with exception of also having the 5% deposit? Thank you

Feeling really p'd off this morning. We were all set to move at Easter, and on the day before we were due to exchange contracts our vendor changed her mind. What constitutes a ransom strip?
If a developer obtains planning permission on a piece of land, but the access to the road is blocked by a strip of land that the Council owns, is this a ransom strip, or does he have the right of access to the highway? It's complicated by the fact that the strip is a steep bank and he wouldn't have the necessary visibility…

STRs
STRs have been very, very naughty And so they will have to go to bed without seeing the Lone Ranger or having any jam for tea. They are very silly because after house price falls next week,by £4 per house nation wide, they will then go on to gain 25% a year for ever.
