It'd be useful to me to talk to other sufferers. I have loads of support from the hospital and my GP. They have a great asthma nurse there…

Malaria tablets
Anyone know which is the cheapest place to get malaria tablets - mefloquine hydrochloride. We need a fair number of them as there are several of us travelling in the group and it's not that cheap. I've tried Superdrug, Lloyds Pharmacy, Boots, Tesco and Asda. Asda are the cheapest so far, unless you know different.

Chewing Gum stays in gut for 6 years?
I've heard that chewing gum which is swallowed can remain in the digestive system for up to 6 years! Apparently due to a possible lack of an enzyme to "digest" it? Someone I met recently claimed that it only stays in your body for half a day max! That seems a little weird especially if you don't visit the loo for a number…

Gym/health club membership contract
Has anyone else come across a long-term contract to become a member of a health club? I have spotted a club that is great in everyway (women-only circuit training), except that you have to sign a credit agreement for three years, and from the small print in the contract, it looks very tricky to cancel. You can freeze your…
