Nairns finely milled oatcakes
Has anyone else noticed that where you used to get 7 oatcakes in one plastic packet, now there are only 6? But on the picture on the box, they still show 7 in one plastic wrap?! (I counted while waiting for something else to cook ;) )

Have you noticed that supermarket blended butter has increased from 98p to £1.10 in the past week. Coincidentally (?) I see Sainsburys and Asda have been fined £116 million for their part in a price fixing scam with dairies. Net result is that milk producers didn't get the extra money, supermarkets and dairies got richer…

I was overcharged in Asda this morning but only found out much later when i checked the receipt. I bought two packs of water bottles which were on offer 2 for £2.50 but on my receipt it says i bought 3. Do you think they will refund me if I go back? Will they believe me?

Nescafe Black Gold 200g £1.49 at Sainsburys.
Just back from Sainsburys and bought the last 5 jars of Nescafe Black Gold 200g reduced to only £1.49 from almost £6 per jar. There were only 6 jars left at my local, but some greedy ****** beat me to a jar. :D Might be store specific, but obviously worth a look. Happy hunting. Lynsey

Tesco Toothpaste @ 24p
Yesterday in my local Tesco Express I picked up a few tubes of their Tesco original whitening toothpaste for 24p each. I don't know if it's everywhere but it's worth keeping an eye out. I've used it and it seems to do the job, it might not be Colgate Total but for the price it's a bargain.
