Scottish Power are taking the P**@ Help Needed!!!
I would be soooo grateful if any1 could give any advice over this. We are with Scottish Power for gas and electric and we have been with them for about 5 years now and last year, March 2008, I had phone call from them asking me for £76 a month rather than the normal £50 a month I was paying. They told me that if I…

BG Setting Initial DD
I would like to apologise if a similar item is posted else where. Recently I took over a friend’s house when he moved out. I notified British Gas that I was taking over the supply and once the first bill arrived I would arrange a direct debit payment plan. I have received the bill for £103.87 for 62 days (January '09 -…

Very basic query but my debt skills are sorely out of date. I am trying to help my son - he has had token meters fitted by eon for both fuels and is struggling to keep them topped up due to high setting to recoup debt. Any ways to have them removed??????

Paying for what you use
I want to switch our gas and electricity to a more suitable plan for our house. It's a shared house and we want to be able to pay for the gas and electricity we use on a regular basis to avoid complications if and when different housemates move out/in. We are currently on monthly direct debit which has caused problems as…

I have been with EDF for over 2 years now and every 6 months or so, I go on the price comparison sites to see if I can get a better deal and every time, the answer is EDF. I live near Southampton and from my historic meter readings (and using the calculations to get from the gas meter reading to the KWH figure), I am using…
