Job seekers
I was made redundant just over a month ago. I have not been unemployed for 25 years so no idea on benefits etc. I did get a redundancy package, does this mean I am not entitled to job seekers allowance. I have tried to find out online but it's all so complicated now. Does anybody know if I can claim or not. Many thanks.

Unacceptable delays from employer regarding my request
I asked my employer in September last year if they would consider putting my hours up a bit, as I am only working 18 hours a week and struggling to afford my bills. I have explained to them that I can work up to 25 hours a week but that 21 would suffice, and have put together what I think is a really solid business case…
