how would I get into logistics/distribution planning/management
this is something I really really would love to get into, I thrive in a fast paced demanding environment, I am aware we all have to start somewhere but where, I would be prepared to go in voluntarily to learn a few things or even start off in an admin role and work my way up but I am finding it so hard to get started.

Self employment - who do I need to tell?
I am in the process of setting up self employed, as this seems to be the norm now for my sector. I will be using my home as my office base, where I will pick up e-mails, use the phone etc. but will not currently be seeing any clients at home (at least until I sort out an office space). I know I need to inform HMRC, but do…

Changing from a Fixed to Flexible Contract
Just after some advice if I may. Job Security - Primary Care Trust????
Made redundant from Local Authority May 10, got another job Nov 10, very secure but not quite the hours I'd like to do. The actual work doesn't utilise my skills fully & if I stay in it for too long it's going to get increasingly difficult to 'move on' as my skills become rusty. Been offered a job with a Primary Care…
