wages

hi all

i need some advice my partner started a new job on the 11th of april hes being paid monthly in arrears they always pay on the 27th of every month,

my question is because im not use to montly pay always paid weekly
will he get some pay end of this month or will it be the end of may for the couple of weeks hes worked this month then end of june he will get a full months wages im so confused

he was on jsa and were strugling at the min because the job centre mixed up on the 4 week run on on hb/ctb so they have suspended claim for now. thank you.

    He needs to ask his line manager. But I would think they will give him some pay this month.
    Also depends how big the company is-in smaller company it is more likely all the details will get processed in time for payroll cut off as well.
    But the only people able to give him 100% sure answer are the company themselves.

    The deadline for payroll can be quite early in the month: if he's missed it and they say he won't be paid on 27th April then it would be worth asking if it's possible for him to have an advance on next month's wages, because it is a long time from 11th April to 27th May!
