Hiya Everyone, I started a new job in Nov last year, will be receiving my 3rd wage this Thursday. My tax code is 522L M1. Does anybody know what the M1 means please. I'm I paying a bit more tax than I should be doing? I am married with no kids. Thanks :D

Possible Closing of Store
Hi All I manage 2 retail stores in an Airport. I have a feeling 1 of them is going to be closed soon when the contracts are up for renewal. So I would just be running the 1 store. Could they reduce my salary if they do? What would they have to do if they did want to? Thanks

Benefits whilst in notice period (redundancy)
Once you have been made redundant and are in your notice period, what happens to your benefits? Car Allowance? Petrol Card? Do you keep them until the end of the notice period? Also, do you acrue holiday whilst in your notice period? So the employer has to pay you any days up to the end of the notice period?
