I'm just about to start a new job - I've been at home with children for the last few years. I do have a P45 but it is from 6 years ago. Is there any point giving the new employer that - or is it so old they'll put me on the emergency tax rate or whatever it is anyway?

Jumping into the higher tax band - good?
Laughably, I am concerned about a potential job offer (I am down to last two now - so have a 50/50 chance.) I hope this is the right place to put this. I watched a programme the other night called "The Death Detective" on BBC3. I always wanted to be a pathologist but my school was never very…

Payslip query...
Evening all. My employer has given me this months payslip, but inside the envelope there are 4 seperate payslips; one for each week of the month I've just worked. Each of them give previous dates for when I've 'been paid', but I've only been paid today. Does this sound legit, or as though there's something going on?
