how long from default notice to CCJ stage?

MINT owes ME money
I am £125 in credit with MINT. I asked 2 weeks a go for them to close my account and send me a cheque and so far I've seen nothing. Anyone here with ideas what to do? Perhaps leave it for 3 months and tell them I will report them to a debt collecting agency?
