Question about form PA15 renounce role of executor
I have a question about form PA15 where you can renounce your powers as executor. My ex wife and I are both executors for my deceased mum. Bank account frozen following death - can money still be paid in?
My mother-in-law died earlier this week, and as a result her bank account is now frozen. She was in a residential home for a couple of years until her death, and we had been renting out her house to help towards the costs of her care. Inheritance tax transfer of residential enhancement
Hello, I am dealing with an estate of someone who has just died and who had property. I understand that if the property is left to children then £175,000 can be added to the reliefs before inheritance tax has to be paid. The solicitor said that this application went in two weeks ago and they're pushing for the house sale to be completed…

First off - please trolls stay away and do NOT comment on this. I only want genuine replies - and NOT trolls "having a go" - yet again - because their egos demand it. First parent died 2 weeks into Lockdown and the other one (his wife-my mother) has just died too. She was in English part of the country. I am in the Welsh…

IHT question
If the deceased had a pension and a life assurance policy both with named beneficiaries which were paid out to those beneficiaries directly and without having to be added into their estate does that mean the value of those policies is not included in the calculation for IHT? Thanks in advance
