Default date on credit file wrong
Hi there. This is my first post and a little advice is needed. In 2005 I had a Barclays loan which I got into financial difficulty with. I have since repaid the loan in full and recently got a copy of my creditfile from Experian. I noticed that a default has been registered in 2011 even though I have a letter from them…
Letting agency "credit checks" and experian scores - fair?
Having become debt free it's great. I can see all my money going into savings and I can really move on with my life. I'm even able to start to make some strides towards saving for a mortgage now. But I'm deeply concerned that I won't be able to move because of the problems which will remain on my credit file for years.…
Noddle free report
Hi all, I'm looking into getting my free credit report from Noddle to back up the Equifax statutory report I've already got (Experian will take a week so will prob not bother as I've been happy with Equifax in the past). Has anyone got their report through Noddle? I know that it will show similar info to the other agencies…
Credit report update?
Hi, just a quick one re my credit report. I have previously defaulted but later satisfied account. Will this remain on my credit report for 6 years from the date of default or 6 years from the satisfied/settled date? For info there's 5.5 years between the to dates. Thank you in advance.
Experian & Equifax
Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone else is having the same issues I am with the different credit reporting companies... I bought my equifax report yesterday and got a "fair" rating. Today I bought the experian one and was rated "excellent" I have two small defaults (settled) on my file, one from 2011 and one from 2008…
Experian credit reports
I've been signed up with Experian since new year so I can keep my eye on my credit score to see how it's doing. It hasn't changed at all since January. The same figure for "amount of outstanding debt", same figure for "amount of available credit". All exactly the same, nothing at all has changed in three months. This is…
Payday loan affect on your credit file help !!
I am new here and looking for some helpful advice. I have had a pay day loan a few times from payday express. Always paid back on time no issues. I have settled what I owe them in full this month and will not be taking another one again ever !! Now what I want to know is when a company ie Tesco bank, nationwide etc do a…
Experian, Equifax and Noddle 'scores' and 'ratings' have little value
Pasting this as the number of threads every day is ridiculous. For people purchasing their 'credit score' from the likes of Experian, Equifax and Noddle - please do not pay extra for this. The same goes for any 'ratings'. Reviewing your credit file is sufficient for you to see if you need to take action that will make you…
