Calculating a single months' interest in advance??
This might be super simple, so forgive me if it is! All I want to do is to know how much interest I'm likely to be charged on my credit card balance, before I get my bill this month. I've looked online for a calculator, but they all seem to just want to tell me how long it will be until I can pay the whole thing off, and…

Monarch Section 75 Refund
Hi folks. I put a claim in via email to Lloyds Disputes when Monarch went bust. It's been 15 days with no news (not even an acknowledgement of my two claims). Has anyone else heard anything back from Lloyds/received their refund or been refused? I am sure they are inundated with claims, but was wondering how long to wait…

Aqua or Marbles card. Is there any difference?
Been looking into CCs for someone new to credit with a very limited but so far so good history. Seems to me that Marbles and Aqua cards, both by New Day, are pretty much the same thing. On the MSE eligability checker the only difference seems that the Aqua card offers a 6 month balance transfer whilst the Marbles only…

Vanquis Payments
Spoke to Vanquis this morning. Had an extremely rude lady who told me that she has concerns I will not payoff the card and that I should "get my bearings together" before using my Vanquis card. This was because I was confused about how payments are made against the statement balance. My statement balance as of 3rd October…

Paid by Credit Card?... think you’re covered?..perhaps not!
Firstly, apologies if this has already been covered on here;…I’ve searched but I can’t see anything. Er’indoors recorded a ‘consumer’ programme on BBC the other day and it concerned a man who’d bought a £1000 item by credit card ‘online’ from a well established UK company. Unfortunately the retailer went bust and the buyer…

£40,000 Private Medical - Cash or put on Credit Card to improve rating?
Hello, I have given up on the NHS 24 month waiting list and decided to go private. The bill is about 40,000 GBP. I have a question should I spread the costs over my credit cards, and then pay minimum interest for 3 months then settle them all? Barclaycard credit card
18 months ago I found myself in debt and sought help from each of my creditors.
