Have you successfully applied with a default.
I understand there are cards you can apply for, with a poor credit history. Lets say i have a satisfied default that is coming up 4 years now. Since the default, all my other accounts have been paid on time. Is a default on my credit file always going to have a negative impact if i were to apply for a mainstream card.

I applied for the M&S credit card via the MSE website at the end of August. I received the card and bought a banana (and more) on it before 31 October. I've not received the £25 voucher yet but I can't recall when the vouchers should be (or should have been) sent out. If anyone out there applied for the credit card around…

Fraudulent Charges on My Account - Halifax won't help!
In May this year I noticed 4 transactions for Amazon totalling about £110. I definitely didn’t make these. I checked my own Amazon account and there was no sign of these transactions. I then called Halifax (my CC provider) and they said they would take the charges off while they investigated. A month or so later they got…

Best for spending abroad and occasional UK use
