Withdrawing cash on Halifax Clarity and transferring balance
Hi, I have a Halifax Clarity credit card and on the T&Cs it says that there is no charge on cash withdrawals but interest (@25%) will start accruing immediately. So does this mean I can get a 0% fee balance transfer card, withdraw cash from Halifax Clarity and immediately initiate a balance transfer for the same amount…

Partnership Card (John Lewis)
They have changed their system/format and one has to re-register. I think there must be teething problems as I am unable to log on to my account. I have managed to re-register as requested but I'm hoping that they get the issues sorted soon. There is a high volume of activity on their phone lines so I can't get through. I…

Hello, I applied for a Tesco Credit Card over the weekend (the 0% on purchases for 28 months) and I was declined. Changing energy supplier could affect your credit rating
I've just seen a episode of Rip off Britain which featured someone who regularly changes his energy supplier. This time he changed to NPower I believe. However, they did 2 hard credit searches on him and that resulted in him being rejected for a credit card a few weeks later. They said that 3 companies do hard credit…

Credit search when auto increase offered?
Hi community, Among others I been using a Aqua Card to improve my credit rating (8 months in the U.K.) The Aqua card comes of cause with a ridiculous APR and I always leave about 50£ on the card so they get interest off me. Credit score
Every since I opened my credit accounts, a year ago, my credit score has marginally gone up or down. In average it sits at the same level as before, which I don't quite understand.
