Stupid Spending on Egg Card!
Hi there, I'd appreciate some help if possible. I applied and got accepted for an Egg Credit Card a few months ago with the aim of using it to balance transfer from some other cards. The 0% offer on BTs was longer than the 0% offer on purchases and the 0% purchase offer expires at the beginning of November. Now, against…

Mint card bonus offer - 0% until March 2008?
I received a Mint card offer this weekend, with 0% on purchases until 1 July 2007, 0% on BT until 1 July 2007 (2.5% transfer fee), and - for applying before the end of September - 0% until 1 March 2008 on all BT transferred in Sept 2007. So I guess theoretically I could get a Mint card now, transfer until June 2007, switch…

Unfair interest charge on visa credit card
I have an Abbey visa credit card and took up an offer 6 months or so ago of 6 months interest free credit. I put a reminder in my Outlook calendar to warn me in plenty of time before the end of the offer because I didn't want to get clobbered by even a month's interest. I had £3k outstanding with a month to go last month.…

Purchase Interest. What is it?
I must admit that I, foolishly, do not pay a great deal of attention to the entries on my so-called credit card statement. However, one thing that I would like to know more about is the item designated "Purchase Interest". What is this, as I haven't made a purchase on my card for some time, now?
