I've got an A&L Premier current account and this morning received a renewal notice for the 'Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance' that's free for the first year. Reducing an overdraft at Barclays
Whats the best way to clear off a £500 overdraft ? Reduce it down a month at a time ? But by how much and will the bank do this for me when I ask ? What will happen to the Personal Reserve that is on the account ? I would rather see the amount going down slowly than try to save money in the account and pay it off in one go.
advice needed re: urgent bank transfer
My student daughter has her rent payment,(standing order), due from her account today, but does not have enough funds to cover it. As it cannot be taken till tomorrow, would it be better to transfer the money online today from my account( we both bank with natwest) or do it first thing tomorrow morning in the branch?
