Mobile Broadband in California
Does anyone have experience of mobile broadband in the USA? Ideally, I'd like to get a SIM with a Gigabyte loaded for use while I am in California in September. I have wifi on my netbook but it would be good to have a back-up. My dongle is on 3.

Switching from BT to Primus - will I lose my free orange broadband?
**Posted in home phones section too - wasn't sure of best place!*** I have a free 'home starter' broadband package from Orange which I signed up to a few years ago along with my mobile phone. It's a great deal - up to 20MB speeds, a 10GB download limit and a livebox. They don't offer the package anymore and now charge £7 a…

Alternatives to BT Vision
Hi I have BT vision, but i'm looking for a cheaper alternative. We get TV (very limited channels given the price imo), landline (we don't even have a phone as we all use mobiles) and internet which we use a bit but are not "power users" This all costs £30 a month. Way too much in my opinion. TV - I don't see that BT vision…

Re: Please help clueless on internet and do I have a good deal?
Hi there, I'm new to MSE and have taken the time today to review my bills. I've had broadband for 1 yr with Sky, broadband connect. My bill each now with them is £75, firstly as my oh has sports for £46, the internet they say costs £17pm and the phone rental is £11.00 as we only make evening calls locally otherwise use…

EchoLife HG521
We have one of these courtesy of Talk Talk our new internet overlords. But it has only one wired connection and (presumably) a wireless connection. I need another wired connection. Is it possible to plug the old wireless router into the new one and the two connections into that (it has room for 4 lan sockets + wireless)?

Hi all Just moved into a new house, and we've started looking at broadband (we don't really make landline calls). We were thinking of either Orange (£17pm inc. line rental plus £70 Quidco cashback) or TalkTalk (£18ish-pm inc. line rental plus £50 cashback). However, we've found that the house hasn't actually had an active…
