Parents on benefits - ISA for 16 yr old
I want to gift some money to a 16 year old relative to put in an ISA but his parents have advised me to wait until he is 18 as otherwise it counts against their £3000 savings limit as they are on benefits. Is this correct? I thought ISAs were a personal allowance which shouldn't count as part of the parents' savings.…

Is anyone able to tell me do you have to get sick notes from your GP to start a claim for ESA? I was originally on IB up untill last June but was able to go back to work part time. However, due to my health issues Iam now out of work again. Do I apply for ESA or do I have to go for JSA instead?
