get very good underlay as you then don't have to spend as much on the actual carpet. We went for the same carpet all through rather than changing colours and styles, looks much better3 -

De lurking to say if you go for wool then watch out for moths, they ate a big chunk of ours under a sofa before we found it! Now go for man made and not noticed any different. Also dont skimp on unde…3 -

Carpets can be quite personal, but for me definitely NOT a plain colour. Someone luckily not me always manages to knock a coffee over on it. Believe me it does not completely wash out. Also look out …2 -
