Only paying things which need not to be cancelled eg the rent/phone contracts/broadband/car insurance. A few other things like my accountant etc I have to pay in January but beyond that nothing.1 -

I think you are misunderstanding a bit. A company secretary performs an admin function for the company. It is the company appointed as managing agent by the landlord.2 -
