As above, you need to find out exactly who is chasing this debt, after a year it is very likely that Sky have closed all accounts and instructed a third party to recover the debt.1 -

Bear in mind, if you do decide on further action (legal?), a Solicitor’s letter will almost certainly cost more than £50. There shouldn't be any need to involve a solicitor in this.1 -
