No issue at all. You are indeed the actual legal owner - albeit jointly, as with most household assets - and not a financier of some flavour, which is the thing they need to know for any payout.1 -

No, the insurers normally ask for both reg keeper AND owner. But they're generally happy if those are different but husband and wife.1 -

Who's name is on the V5? While V5 states not "Proof of Ownership" That person names on V5 is the "Registered Keeper" & that is the details that Ins are asking for..1 -

I would say the owner would be the person that purchase the car and the keep is the person whose name the car is registered against on the V5. Exceptions would things like hire purchase, in which cas…1
