Since I retired in December, just before Christmas, I have not regretted it for one second. I've done a ton of decorating and I'm going to Lanzarote on Wednesday for ten days to chillax :) …15 -
Re: DWP forecast says 34 years out of 35 is only pennies less per week than full state pension.
I needed 49 years but only had time to get 48 before state retirement age. So I'm a little short of the full pension but it's still more than the old style pension.1 -

Extra pension contributions are handy for keeping out of higher rate tax if you’re close to it and can afford not to have the money now. It’s a bit of a balancing act 🤷♀️3
