Seems a bit of an odd strategy to make existing customers feel unwanted for the sake of 0.1%. I remember other providers would occasionally offer maturing accounts a better rate, not worse.2 -

We buy any stamps pay 55% for all stamps. So this works out less for 1st class but a much better deal for 1st class large which currently retail at £3.15. They also pay 35% for presentation packs.5 -
