Is it possible to download videos/music to an ipod from you tube?
If so, how is it done?

Thanks in advance!

    i arent sure but the latest free version of real player allows you to download any video that is playing on a webpage including the videos you see on youtube. so i presume once that is done you can then transfer it to an ipod. i've never owned an ipod so someone will probably be able to give you a better answer. i am sure you can do it though.

    Try Easy Video Downloader http://www.videodownloader.fdrlab.com/

    Only used it a couple of times myself but it seems to do the trick!

    Add this as a new bookmark:
    javascript:if%20(document.getElementById('download-youtube-video')==null%20&&%20!!(document.location.href.match(/http:\/\/[a-zA-Z\.]*youtube\.com\/watch/)))%20{var%20yt_mp4_path='http://www.youtube.com/get_video?fmt=18&video_id='+swfArgs['video_id']+'&t='+swfArgs['t'];%20var%20div_embed=document.getElementById('watch-embed-div');if(div_embed){var%20div_download=document.createElement('div');div_download.innerHTML='%3Cbr%20/%3E%20%3Cspan%20id=\'download-youtube-video\'%3E%3Ca%20href=\''+yt_mp4_path+'\'%3EDownload%20as%20MP4%3C/a%3E%20'+%20%20((navigator.userAgent.indexOf('Safari')!=-1)?'(control-click%20and%20select%20%3Ci%3EDownload%20linked%20file%20as%3C/i%3E)':('(right-click%20and%20select%20%3Ci%3ESave%20'+%20(navigator.appName=='Microsoft%20Internet%20Explorer'?'target':'link')%20+'%20as)%3C/i%3E'))+'%3C/span%3E';div_embed.appendChild(div_download);}}void(0);

    (you'll have to copy and paste it). Go to the YouTube video you want to download, and then click this bookmark. A link will appear in the info box on the right saying "Download as MP4". Right-click the link and select "Save target as" (Windows) or "Download linked file as" (Mac), give it a name and download it.

    Now you can just put it straight onto your iPod.

    Hi, you don't paste it into the info box; once you're on the YouTube page you want to save, you paste it into the address bar of you browser and go to it just like it was a website. Then a little link will appear in the info box allowing you to download the video. It's easier if you add it as a bookmark and then you can just click on it rather than having to copy and paste all the time.

    Google Video will allow you to download to an ipod but the choice is limited

    http://video.google.co.uk

    Search whatever yu want to look for and click on the "videos hosted by google radio button"

    When you play the video there is an option on the right hand side to download video for psp/Ipod
