Citroen C8 Eolys Fluid
Options
the screen in my c8 says diesel additive minimum level so contacted citroen dealer and they quoted £500-£600 to fix it. all that needs doing is the eolys fluid needs topping up. this cost £32 a litre and i need 4-5 litres.
i have found a potetial cheaper alternative (free actually) and am unsure if i can use it. its called adblue and is made of 67.5% distilled water and 32.5% urea and is for the same job as eolys fluid-to cut emmissions from car.
does anybody know anything about this as i have been searching web for 2 days and can't find any answers.
thanks

Where you get your info about Adblue? Has anyone tried adding it as cheap alternative to EOLYS?
I have a 206 HDi 1.6 engine, the additive tank is empty and I fear may be doing damage to the small pump.
Totty, if you still have this car, what solution to diesel particulate filter have you got?0 -
