DRM removal - freeware sought 9th Feb 18 at 8:17 PM
Is there any freeware that will remove DRM encryption on a large (1.7Gb) MP4 file - to allow viewing ?

We can certainly help with viewing the file legitimately though. We'll get nowhere if we don't know what DRM it is.

So if you want to view it, 50Twuncle, what kind of file and DRM are we talking about?

HDCP? Are we talking about the copy protection built into the HDMI standard? If so, both the playback device, and the screen need to support HDCP. This looks like a hardware problem. For the moment DO NOT download anything that promises to fix it.
So - what is the playback device, what is the screen, and via what cables are they connected?
