Stupid Slap from Ebay.com

Options
A while ago I was looking for a new drive roller drive belt for my SIP 01453 planer thicknesser, so contacted the Ebay seller I'd bought a SIP bandsaw drive belt from. He could not help, but through the internet I found a supplier, bought the belt (SIP show it as NLA!) so emailed him the name of the supplier, address and phone number, and said "I can't add the email address as Ebay don't allow it!" He was chuffed, as he sells a lot of SIP spares, many of which either SIP no longer have or are damned expensive from them (the belt I bought was £20 from SIP if available, I got 2 for £14.95 delivered!).

I've now had a warning email from Ebay for this, on the basis of looking to sell outside of ebay - and no way to reply and tell them to read the correspondance! Far from offering to sell/buy outside of Ebay, I was providing useful information to a supplier so he can help other potential buyers!!

Wish I could email Ebay and tell them they're FOS!
