Hi, does anyone know why Ryanair want to charge me a payment fee of £2.68, despite the fact that I'm not trying to pay by credit card?

Any further clues?
How are you trying to make payment (debit card)?
What is the fare? What percentage is the £2.68 of the transaction?0 -
How are you trying to pay? Only debit cards are free, credit cards (including prepaid cards) and PayPal are charged at 2%.0

Ryanair automatically charge both debit and credit cards, they then tell you to submit a complaint and proof that you have a debit card, to obtain a refund!0

No they don't. If you select the right card type there is no debit card fee.0 -
Balderdash! A quick play on the site proves that only PayPal, American Express, Mastercard, Mastercard Prepay and Visa attract the 2% fee. Selecting Mastercard Debit, Visa Debit, Visa Connect or Visa Electron do not.DontGiveUp2011 wrote: »Ryanair automatically charge both debit and credit cards, they then tell you to submit a complaint and proof that you have a debit card, to obtain a refund!
