The Swedish Number: Fancy a chat? Call a Random Swede

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the abolition of censorship The Swedish Tourism Association has become the first country to launch it's own phone number, which in its words you can use to call a "random Swede".
Anyone ringing The Swedish Number can talk about anything they like.
If you're thinking of giving it a try don't pay to ring the international number, there's a local number available for each country on the site (from the UK it's 0203 808 9899), or use our Cheap UK and International Calls guide.
It wouldn't be MSE if we didn't give it a try so, of course, our MSE Megan called them up and spoke to Gorm in Stockholm.
We asked him to tell us a joke, but he said didn't "collect" them, so we instead asked him for his best Swedish MoneySaving tip. He said to head out of the city and go hiking to see the beautiful scenery nearby. :rotfl:

July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
Do you think the 'random Swedes' are forced to do it?
Like jury service - only they have to carry around a mobile phone that could ring at any time...0 -

Sure. It was only locked down in the UK I believe, and a random Swede probably isn't considered a UK media outlet.
There's probably a tasty bunch of media black holes you could report back to us with.0 -

That would depend on whether the 'random Swede' you connected to was as celebrity garbage obsessed as you are?0 -
