You might be extremely lucky at get something at a good price but the chances are that despite paying a large sum of money to bid, you will not get anything at all.
If it was easy to get goods at the advertised "up to 60% off", everyone would do it instead of shopping on the high street or internet.

When you say as good as it sounds, are you just going by the adverts or have you got a friend who has won something big?

There is no good word of mouth advertising for madbid because everyone looses apart from madbid.

You would have better luck going down to the casino and putting £50 on black than using that site.

Madbid is great if you like to lose money by gambling. Nothing else to say about it.

Madbid is not an auction site. It is a gambling site. Who wins on gambling sites? The owners do. Do you see where I'm coming from here?
  • My next door neighbour won (if that's the correct word to use), a Samsung Galaxy note tablet on Madbid.
With the bids and postage charge, she ended up paying a total of about £240 which considering that the same item could be purchased from John Lewis for £255 (which includes a 2 year warranty) wasn't really a bargain at all.

I just wonder how much in total was paid by all the other mugs bidding on the same tablet?
  • many thanks to those who replied to my enquiry. All sudgested advice noted. Will not be waisting my time or money.

Yes, also, as in the name, you have to be mad to bid.

    More chance with Ladbrokes*.

    *other bookmakers are available.

As others have said, don't waste your time and money, anyone thinking of actually using sites like this need their heads checked, also their ads should be banned as they are entirely misleasing.
