Dubious or not folks.

I came across a product on ebay item number 271206577138
Now the seller is registered as a business seller and has a valid address in Northern Ireland. Google maps show its a nice gaff.
He has 100% feedback but none for a year and certainly none in the line of what he is currently selling. Check his other items out.
The listings appear to have the feel of being picked straight from a Far East seller.
The prices are just too good to be true but loads of buyers with high amounts of ebay traffic appear to be buying up.

What is the gut feel on here ?
I just suspect to see a load of negatives in a fortnight.

Sorry if I have infringed in any way.

It could be a hacked account, it does seem rather too good to be true.

Thats what I suspect but did not want to say.
Surely someone could knock on his door and ask him nicely if he knows about all the stuff he is selling on ebay :)

271206623495 listing in particular even shows it coming from China with a present :) !!!!!!!!

Not bad for "free carriage" from Northern Ireland

At least one of his listing s has been simply copied and pasted from this seller and the price changed from £250 plus £50 postage to £39.99 delivered.

I hope we don't get the usual posts, "could this be true?", "is it worth a punt?" ;)

You know we will, we may even get the 'seller said his paypal was down so I paid by bank transfer as he seemed so genuine' threads as well.

He (Or whoever) only started listing yesterday so not a bad start on revenue.
If we assume a scam is there a logic to what you choose to sell ? what quantity you sell ? what price you sell at ? They are just such odd items.
Why use this identity (If hacked) to sell via. Very little feedback, address listed etc.
Are all these buyers gullible ? Is no-one asking questions ?
Interesting if someone could nip around to Claudy in Derry and knock on the listed address.
I assume also if someone has stolen an identity then the contact seller button would go to them as well ?

I can't understand how this seller expects to scam, if it is indded a scam. The funds are almost certainly being held by paypal so he can't get at it.

Excuse my ignorance as I know diddly squat about paypal.
Does that mean that buyers have nothing to lose if they are paying by PP ?
Ie they will get a refund when no goods arrive anyway ?

Buyers ar eprotected regardless of what happens, it's just a lot of faffing about waiting for a refund and such like.

However, in this instance I can't see paypal even releasing the funds to the seller so I can't see what the seller hopes to gain.
