edited 19 March 2013 at 5:46PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
I've just ordered Easter gifts for nieces and nephews and thought I would share the offer.

Thorntons are currently doing 5 for £20 on a selection of easter eggs and chocolates and there is free postage over £20

Quidco have a 20% code on easter eggs and this works on the deal as well. also quidco doing 8% cash back

So 5 items for £16 I also ordered some of these http://www.thorntons.co.uk/product/Offers/Factory-Clearance/Milk-Chocolate-Princess-Model-200g/pc/2246/c/2393/18.uts

as an alternative to eggs and 20% was taken off so quite a good deal.

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: Thorntons has confirmed this is an online offer available until Thu 28 Mar 2013, subject to availability. Delivery's free, as you're spending £20. It's also confirmed you can use the code on VoucherCodes to get free eggs with this offer, though the code expires on Thu 21 Mar 2013. Thanks to bobsa1for sharing this cracking offer.

My local Thornton Clearance store is selling the £6.50 eggs for £3.75 and they are BOGOF. The Bramble & Lenny (Sheep & Rabbot) chocolate figure twin pack are £3.75. So worth checking if you have a clearance store close by.

Received my order yesterday my husband accepted it. The box was falling to pieces it was so wet and someone had used gaffer tape to try and keep it looking something like a box. The eggs had been packed so they were rubbing up against the sides of the packaging. A total flippin nightmare. Have e mailed them but donnt think they will do anything just blame it on the courier as usual.

Mines arrived well packed and with plenty padding etc round the chocolate bunnies ! I have had a damaged delivery before and found their cs to be extremely helpful ! If I remember correctly they replaced the damaged goods -think it was Halloween goodies at the time.

heard from thorntons this morning they want me to send them photographic evidence re box and damage. The box what was left of it went in the recycling bin this morning and was collected. For goodness sake.
