Aer Lingus meals

Has anyone sampled the Aer Lingus meals on the Dublin to USA flights. They seem expensive for aeroplane food. (£14.95)
Do they offer any other snacks on board? Is anything free such as drinks?
I've only flown to USA with BA before and everything was 'free".

Makes Ryanair sound cheap don't you think?0

Meals are free on transatlantic flights on Aet Lingus, you can upgrade to premium meals with wine included, but if you don't you still get free meals. Soft drinks are included, alcohol is extra, as it is on every transatlantic airline flying from Ireland0

Thanks for that. I've not flown aer lingus before but was a little misled when booking. I thought the £15 meal was the inly option. The question is then what are the standard free meals like?0
