How to tell if a listing has been edited... UPDATED :-)

Is it possible to tell if a listing has been edited by the seller, after someone has placed a bid?
The reason I ask is that I have just won an item, but I'm sure that some of the description has changed since I bid. I would not have bid on this item with this description.
This is hardly the sale of the century - I won it for only 99p, so it's not a major financial loss!
I'm just interested to know whether it is possible to check whether a listing was changed during the auction.
Thanks

Edits used to appear as a separate box of text after bids were made.
Did you view the listing on an App or on the normal webpage?0 -

Viewed as a normal webpage, on a desktop computer.0 -
IIRC, once a bid is placed, the seller cannot change the listing, posting, or title. the seller CAN add notes to the listing tho.
i.e they sell a cd that says in the listing scratch free, they then find a scratch and put a note on it it saying not scratch free, but 1 scratch0 -
A listing can't be edited after a bid has been placed but they can add to the description that shows up in a separate box.0

If you buy an item from a multiple item listing, the seller could possibly alter the description, but I suspect, not by much. In that case, the listing is still live even though you have bought something from it.
Unfortunately it might be that you didn't read the listing close enough in the first place - this happens, you certainly wouldn't be the first person (in fact, join the club!). Unless the listing was misleading, and possibly even then, it might be human error on your part rather than alteration by the seller."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

What if they edit before a bid has been placed?
I think what has happened is that I read the listing a couple of days ago and was watching it, then with half a day to go I decided to bid - but I didn't think to re-read the whole listing again before bidding. The original description listed the item - a dress - as a UK size 12, but when I won the bid I've discovered that the description now reads as an EU size 38 - which is more a UK size 10. Which probably will not fit.
It's my own fault for not re-reading the full listing before bidding, but it would have been helpful to have had some flag that it has been edited.
Oh well, it was only 99p and £2 p&p, so hardly a major loss, and I can re-sell it. Lesson learned though, read listings through again in full before bidding....0 -
If there are no bids, then they can edit it all they like, though I think not within the last number of hours.
Frustrating mistake to make."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

There will be a clickable link saying 'view revisions.' And if the description has been changed it will tell you when on that link.0

I've had a look at my own listings and can't find it, but I know I've seen it before myself. It might actually only appear if something has been revised."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
