I don't know what's happening with this now, I was logged in last night and had a welcome email. Today there is no option to log in and they are saying it's now closed!

I used this on my old phone, but I use various apps so much on my new phone that I'm not comfortable using it again. A great little earner if you're comfortable about what information they'll use, though.

In case anyone has the same as me I d/l this on thursday I think but even though the app was installed and appeared to be working fine it didn't appear to be active on the website until I checked today - so just an fyi if you're checking it might take a couple of days :)

  • I'm sure for most people this isn't an issue as a lot are on unlimited data packages but mine is fixed. it's usually enough for what i want to do in a month but i hadnt realised that the software uses your data allowance to send info back to the company so just something to bear in mind before you sign up...

The only Data allowance it takes up is when you actually install the App ... Thats it. Im on PAYG and am fully aware of what my data allowance is and have never noticed a difference in 3 months of actually installing the app.

  • Not trying to put a dampner on things Nickv1.0 and you're obviously in a good position to comment having used it for 1-3 months and I took the software off my phone as soon as I read the info below in the terms and conditions because I only get 500 data allowance and use the net a LOT on my phone so sometimes go over already and didn't want to take the risk. Other people may be in the same position but if not then it's a great opportunity - just want to give people all the facts in case they don't read the T&Cs

    Q. Will I get charged when I download the Meter software or enroll in the panel? How much data traffic does the Meter software cause?
    A. The Meter software works by collecting usage information and sending the encrypted logs over a secure connection (https). The delivery of these log files is approximately 300-600 KB a month. In addition, when you download and activate the meter, it will download a file size of 260 KB and will produce two SMS messages for downloading/activation. The SMS messages and use of the wireless network may results in billable charges from your mobile operator depending on your rate plan.
