Time for a new thread - hopefully it will be updated by new mum's of Lucy (hope to get some photos via email), Jo and East End Lass (obligatory) , neighbour's friends (hope to get some photos by email) and... possibly myself as MAY leave the last kitty here.
Lucy and her babies are all going to CH tomorrow - kitties for flea treatment and general check over, Lucy for spay and flea treatment to to be microchipped with her new mum's details.
Lucy and 3 babies are going to their new homes tomorrow, one more baby is going to his new home on Thursday and one possibly stays here - unless.... I do not know but I guess once he is here he is MINEAlthough I know I should not... but.. erm.... will TRY to resist but......
Thank you to absolutely everyone who visited both threads, who supported me and my daughter in raising this little family in every way possible - your encouragement and all the help coming in was overwhelming and really, REALLY appreciated.0 -
Don't try to resist too hard!
Can't believe where the time has gone ..... wishing them all very happy lives with their new slaves - can't wait to see the pics of them all growing up. However, above all I'm so glad Lucy has found the forever home she deserves.

I am SO grateful to you, your daughter and her bf for looking after them so well, and givibg them a fantastic start. one that I am sure me and my big soppy Northern bf can continue.
He is SO excited that he couldn't even come with me to visit them on Saturday as he would not have been able to leave them there and come away! :rotfl:
This morning he woke me up singing "One sleep till kittens!" to the tune of "No sleep till Brooklyn".
My 12 year old daughter still has no idea at all what is in store for her when she gets home from Guides tomorrow night!

Ahhhhhh!!
They are all so sweet, it has been a pleasure to follow Lucy's journey!
A big pat on the back must go to yourself, your daughter and her boyfriend for caring enough to save Lucy and her kittens, without you all there would have been a very different outcome, I bet Lucy can't believe her luck in finding you all.
I wish all of the kitties well and look forward to the updates.

I bet you can't wait to see her reaction! It's great to see the delight on kids faces when they get a pet to love.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500 -
Well - thanks everyone
Sheila (from Purrs) picked me up, took me to my daughter's to pick Lucy and babies and we went to CH where Jo was waiting for us.
Lucy went in and then we were called in with the kitties not realising that Lucy was among other cats in cages in the same room - hearing me and her babies she started crying like mad poor thing, gave her as much cuddles as I possibly could through the bars of the cage she was in......
Kitties were flea treated and guess what?
Jo was right with every sinle one so hers is a boy, EastEndLass are both girls and the last 2 are both boys
Jo, Sheila and me then came back to mine for a wel deserved coffee and the fun started - Zara has gone absolutely crazy about the kitties, they did not want to know hissing at her and arching their massive 500gram backs etc etc.. sigh.....
Jo and Sheila left - Jo with her baby in the basket and then Magda came for her little boy right after and again Zara has gone crazy.....
Magda left with her kitten (she called him..... Adolf LOL) and only now Zara has calmed down a little bit.
EastEndLass is picking up her girls at around 7:15pm.
I am supposed to meet Jennifer at CH to pick Lucy up but as Zara was barking all the time when I was out in the morning and only now shut up (she is probably tired) there is no way I can leave er alone when she knows there are 3 kitties in the flat somewhere even if I lock them in another room so Jennifer will be picking up Lucy by herself..........
Have to call CH at 3:30 t find out what time to pick up Lucy and let Jennifer know....
In any case - Lucy and 4 out of 5 babies will be in their new forever homes by this evening and the last one is.. staying with me and my boys and Zara here....
My daughter was bugging me to keep this one and as we have not found a suitable home for him - he is staying put.
Macius (Polish name, may change it) will be my boy number 4 in here.
Fred was very interested in all babies, in a nice way , George hissed at them to start with but then plyed with them through his cage bars.. Teddy - Teddy walked in and was more interested in the food that the kitties left out than the kitties themselves... so all looks ok on my side.
BUT - will have to keep the aby away from Zara's love giving attitude for a bit till he is a bit bigger.. she would never harm him on purpose but she is so big that she may step on him or something so all supervised for few weeks...
Ufffff
Thanks again everyone0 -
Just a flying visit to say we're home, he slept all the way, pretty much (and looked so cute curled up in a ball at the front of the cage, I was getting lots of women in business suits peering through and smiling) and he is now staying in there with the door off, having popped halfway out for some food before going back in for another sleep.
The mob here - the boy has alternately called and grumbled at him a few times (and been grumbled back at), but no aggression, just letting him know who is in charge around here. The old girl stuck her head in the box, thinking that it was there for her to sleep in - she had a bit of a surprise when he popped his head up. She is now eating half a pouch of kitten food. The fluffy one is sitting on the stairs looking a bit shell shocked.
DD has just got in and is sitting quietly in front of the carrier and he's poking his head out for some fuss.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
