Calling from Thailand to UK.

Hi, This is my first post so hello does anybody know of a cheap way to

call U.K from Thailand and other south east asia countrys.

I was in Thailand last month & used a local 1-2-call SIM card (300 Baht - about £5) with 50 baht credit on an unlocked Nokia. By dialling the UK using 00944 rather than 0044 takes you on a low cost route (about 7.5 baht per minute [12p] to UK). Top ups are available in most supermarkets in 100 & 300 denominations.Obviously you can make local calls for around 2p per minute. Handy if there is a group of you all with mobiles.
