This is a recipe for Microwave Fudge, I posted it last year as well, Not sure where I found it, but I have made it and it is Easy Peasy and really works well.
Tin of Condensed milk (around 400g?)
125g Butter
500g Castor Sugar
put all in very large bowl (as it rises in bowl when it boils)
cook on high for only 9-10 mins (mine is 850w)
stir every 3 mins
be very carefull it doesnt boil over
after 10 minutes take out and add 5ml vanilla essence
add any other flavours, or things like raisins, whisky, what ever you like
eat when cool............I mean save till Christmas day:rotfl:

Thanks for posting that! Sounds yummy - and easy!
Can I ask what you put it in to cool down? Do you just line a deep baking tin and pur it in?
Janey - I think any bowl that is suitable for microwave use will be ok? Correct me if I'm wrong though (before I have melted plastic and fudge all over the microwave! lol!)

I love microwave fudge - most of my cooking is done in a microwave as I find it quicker, easier and much easier to wash up afterwards!
Microwave cooking doesn't have to be the poor relation of oven cooking, it's an art and technique in itself.
I just wish I could whip up microwave fudge more often, but it's so lovely I daren't!
I've got a microwave fudge recipe kicking around somewhere, I'll dig it out.0 -
