Calling 0800 from mobiles

I know that 0800 isn't free from mobiles yet it doesn't seem easy to find out how much is being charged.
I just called a bank using 0800 on T-mob PAYG. There was a pre-recorded message saying "you will be charged at your standard rate".
I'd expect this to be not more than the landline price of 15p per minute, but I was charged 40p for 55 seconds! That's not fair is it? I couldn't find the relevant section of the t-mob website to check this price.

ring this number:
02002220700 then dial the 0800 number. This is a landline number, so shoudl be charged at normal rate, tried it but I'm on O2, just check to make sure.0 -
Pre-Dials 0200 222 0700 or the alternative number 0200 222 0900 are geographical numbers that should come out your inclusive minutes.
If one number does not work from your particular network the other normally does.
They only work for Freephone Calls.0
