Hi Bob, yes it was good to see them all, although tiring as they have a 3 yo & a 5yo.

It was of course the 2 husbands who decided this between them. The other wife messaged me to make sure I knew what the 2 men had decided was going to happen to make sure it was ok with me.:rotfl: So she understood as well.:rotfl:

They brought over the cot bed & a baby monitor with a sensor mat for the cot as well & wouldn't take anything for either which was lovely of them. They said they were just happy the stuff was going to be used.:T

Yes yuck to stinky cat breath, doesn't help that he always wants to sit with me. Poor boy, it's not his fault, fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

Got £75 of survey money through today so paid £50 off loan no1 & used £25 towards the clothes I had bought last week.

Went out today with DH to run a few errands as had to feed my mum's cats & let them out for the day as well. We took some stuff to the tip for my mum as she doesn't drive.

Got some herbs from B&Q - planted the chives & thyme together and will get some rosemary & oregano to go next to them in the planter. Put the mint & lemonbalm in their own pots as apparently they are very invasive & take over if planted with other herbs.

We also planted our Arran pilot seed potatoes & some chantenay carrots in containers so will see how they go. Have 3 tomato seedlings growing & quite a few of the chilli seeds have germinated too. :j

Went back to my mum's & let the cats in for the night and fed them. Back home for dinner & relaxing on the couch.

Tomorrow is an early start as DH managed to kerb his car at 25mph the other day. Tracking has gone a bit wonky so he has to take it to the garage to get checked. Hopefully it's nothing too bad. :( I have a Dr's appt to get iron tablets & later we need to take the cat to the vets. Also need to go and see to my mum's cats in between.

Urgh, stinky cat breath, nothing worse. Actually, that's a lie. Weeding and digging around in the flower bed that turns out to be your cats' outdoor litter tray is worse:eek:. Still at least it's in my garden and not my poor next door neighbour's.

£75 survey money is quite something, well done! And well done for not flipping out at the husband for your unexpected visitors. :rotfl:

Lovely if them to give you the baby stuff:)

Thanks all, have had a few survey sites all come to payout at once which is quite nice. Got another £8 through today so that has been paid off loan no1 and waiting on another £20 coming in. :T

Paws, I won't lie, I strongly considered flipping out but managed to control myself (for once). :rotfl: Our front garden seems to be the place where the foxes like to poo. _pale_

Cat taken to the vets and they were a bit concerned about his big weight loss since last visit for a scale & polish. We were told he was too fat so reduced his food but he has got a bit skinnier than we realised. He had bloods taken (which cost £123  this can be paid with the savings we put aside each month for the cat's vet visits though) to check for any problems but they phoned not long ago to say all looked ok, thankfully. :) DH was convinced the cat had kidney problems and was going to die.

They still want the cat to put on some weight as want to do a scale & polish on his teeth and aren't happy about putting him under anaesthetic until he's heavier. So have to feed him more, he's very greedy so will be happy about that. :)

DH took his car to the garage and wheel looks ok :T but he needs to get a tyre place to check the tracking & replace the front tyre (he knew the tyre was low on tread anyway). The mechanic we went to didn't charge for the time he took to look at it either as he said there was nothing wrong so no need to pay. :j Will go back to him then. :T

As our energy deal is coming to an end we went and did some price comparisons and have managed to get a 1 year fix paying £20 less a month for gas & electricity. :j

Also did my car insurance, got it £6 p/m cheaper than renewal quote & with £45 cashback. :j

Thanks Bob, it was a relief there's nothing else going on with the cat - as far as they can tell anyway. We lost a previous Oriental to kidney failure so DH was thinking the worst. :( Think £30 of the £123 was the consultation fee so £90-odd for the bloods, could have been worse.

Cat is very happy with his increase in food but think it has upset his stomach a bit. _pale_ Not pleasant when you have an indoor cat & litter trays.

Thanks Scott, will have a look at the other sites if I have time. Trying to get balances up before the baby arrives and get payouts.

Back to work today for 7 late shifts, not looking forward to it. Need to go to my mum's on the way to work to feed her cats and let them out, then go on the way back to let them back in. She's back tomorrow so hopefully I'll only need to drop in on the way to work then.

Got my iron tablets from the Dr yesterday - he said it tells you to take 3 a day on the packet  but my iron levels weren't that bad so just to take 1 as they can upset your stomach/cause constipation etc.

Have done a bit of general tidying/cleaning this morning but not too much. Will need to go and get ready for work soon.
