Good evening, it’s my first time on this forum. And I was wondering if anyone could offer me advice.
Between the years of 2005/2008 I got myself in to a mess with borrowing money, to the point of over £10,000. I had various different loans such as log book loans and bank loans, I was charged hundreds of pounds and probably sold lots of premiums I was unaware of.
Now I was wondering if I stand a chance getting any of the money back? I know it’s a long shot, as I have no paper work and cannot even remember the coupons I took the loans out with. Should I even bother trying? Or is it a lost cause?? I have thought about using a company however after reading up in this forum I have decided to avoid at all costs.
Any help would be much appreciated, trying to by my first home and any money would come as an absolute bonus!!

Bank loans - contact the bank and make a complaint, it's likely you were paying single premium...Good complaint reason.
What's a log book loan? From a garage? They weren't regulated prior to 2005.Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...0 -
Leave "vehicle log book" with the lender as security, get it back when the loans repaid. Not sure these lenders were in any way regulated . . could be wrongWhat's a log book loan?
