I‘ve had a nice day despite being headache(y)
Coffee with friends and then lunch with friends. Fish and chips (yum)
Another non achieving day…and tomorrow I have a walk with a friend and that’s lovely but I will have to set up for at least a creative morning
Hmm slipped up today. I went to get bargains and was tempted into £1 on crisps and £6 for a bottle of wine. Well, it is Friday and such a slip-up is rare these days…
YS bargains
There were lots of bargains but they contained gluten or were unhealthy so I left them. But I got:
Finest piccolo tomatoes £1.50 reduced to 23p
That’s it from me
I hope your day was a good one (and if not there is tomorrow)

A beautiful day weather wise. A nice walk with a friend. Coffee out in the bakery/cafe that baked the gorgeous blueberry and lemon polenta cake and texted me to let me know. It would have been rude not to eat a piece and take 2 away Out most of the day. I like that every thing you need here can be walked to. I think not using transport is one of the things that distresses me the most.
Loving these YS bargains…:D
If I lived here this is how I would shop all the time. You take what’s there and then think about what to do with them.
The other nice thing is no one is that bothered so there isn’t a fight for anything.
Radishes (crisp and delicious) 66p reduced to 9p
Salmon fillet £3 reduced to 30p
A bag of 5 oranges £1.50 reduced to 23p
X2
2 jacket potatoes £1.25 reduced to 19p
Asparagus £1.89 reduced to 28p
Tomorrow I’m roasting veggies with some organic chicken pieces and I’m steaming garlic kale for supper.
A brunch, but no breakfast as going for a long walk in the morning with friends so when I get back I’m planning an egg, mushrooms and a chickpea and beetroot patty. And freshly squeezed orange juice with my YS oranges (Yum)
Hope the outlook for you was sunny even if the weather wasn’t.

I have overspent. This is because I’m away and spending more but I am not paying travel expenses, I’m eating much more cheaply than I would be at home, so why the big discrepancy?
Well, this month I have overpaid debt by £151 (total of £951 paid to debt in August) and add a new DD for £4 and another £8 additional spend. All this without making the adjustments to my existing spending I said I would. In fact all I have ACTUALLY done is trim my fuel costs by £10. So DUH of course I have overspent.:o
I still want to repay debt at the rate I said and keep to the earlier DF date of December 2017. It IS achievable but I have to take the steps already outlined in earlier posts to find the extra.
I can’t rectify this until I am back and have access to paperwork but this needs prioritising and has been marked on the calendar
I am also thinking about a Christmas job in MnS if they have any and I can fit the hours in, as it will be temporary and the additional lump sum will be so helpful. I could cycle there so no need for additional fares. There are no vacancies currently but I’ll keep my eyes open.
I was a lecturer in the area I am creative in. I am ready to start looking for a once a week class to teach at evening college (I used to do this too)
I guess today I woke up thinking an additional income stream would be really helpful.
An illuminating morning for me and it isn’t even 10.00am yet

Hi INOD,
I keep popping over to your diary hoping to see how you are. Fingers crossed things are not too difficult for you…
I haven't gone walking this morning because my brain feels active so I thought I'd go with it instead of being social. My head feels clear
As usual INOD that’s a great idea. There is a stunning building I’ve always wanted to work from that has recently been renovated. It isn’t an art centre, but it is open to creative projects and has a community feel. One of my things is being creative in unexpected venues. It adds sparkle. Someone gifted me to a life drawing class once and it was in a warehouse for florists. It was Winter and there were fairy lights and all around were buckets of flowers in big silver buckets…Magic.:D
Anyway I digress. I am going to offer a free creative class at beautiful venue straight from work so I am already nearby and no outlay. I will then move on to asking if I can use the space for free for a creative project (paying) of my own once a month. When I think of it in the creative world I have never got a job by applying for it. I have always created the opportunity by pitching an idea. I had forgotten that.:o
The thing I love about breaks is I can carry a thought all the way through to an action without the interruptions of paid work or drudgery or worry for the future as I sit in my SO MANY JOBS NEED DOING-house...
I will update my creative CV whilst here and email the manager for an appointment when I get back.
It might come to nothing and if it doesn’t work I will try elsewhere…
Nothing venture nothing gained…

All sounding inspirational DIA, I can see what you mean about thinking differently when away from the to-do list at home. I am finding that I have more thinking space as I get more organised. Fingers crossed for your new venture :T
I am a little concerned for the life drawing model in a floristry warehouse though... wasn't it freezing?

Hi DIA sounds like you are having a lovely time. I'm loving the ideas about your creative side. I would love to know what area you specialise in. I'm a bit of a crafter myself, anything to do with paper, card etc. and have found a couple of ideas to start a little etsy shop with DD. Just need to be a bit more organised in the evenings and get some pennies free for the items we need,
