Hi I am new to this and still trying to find my way round.
Here is my Question.
I am close to retirement and want to move abroad I have 2 stepsons who are disabled they currently receive PIP and DLA.
Can they take this with them ? or part of it ?

Depends on where you are moving to.

Since the stepson on DLA will be invited to apply for PIP at some point, and the majority of PIP applications and renewals are subject to a face to face consultation, have you given any thought regarding this? Will your stepsons be able to travel back to the UK for their F2F?
Mojisola's point about Brexit is an excellent one to consider.0 -
Doesn't PIP have a residency requirement?0

Yes it would be possible to bring the stepson back over to the UK to do a face to face assessment.
By that time we won't have a home here in the UK and would have to stay with family during that time.
we have been planning to live abroad for a long time, and this brexit issue has got me worried.
I have been told that there no problem with me taking my pension.
we have sent a letter over 2 months ago to benefits, but no reply yet.0 -

A temporary absence abroad for up to 13 weeks may be allowed, or up to 26 weeks if the absence is specifically for medical treatment. The claimant should notify us if they are planning to go abroad for 4 weeks or more.
