I've put in another £200 today (just now!) I'm at £145,300 now, soon to hit my target for this year, I'll come in just short of my original £6k target, with £1k down. :( - No worries though, it'll all be good!

I've just suppressed 2 years saved in my 1st year! that's good, so I'd be free 28 years earlier! (i'll be way before that - I'll start putting £1-2k per month as OP, nearing my SVR now anyways.

    Hey thanks!

I didn't make that £6k overpayment as planned but I did manage to get £5k dead on done before the start of the new year. my balance coming into the year is £144,900... I have managed to put around £600 as OP last month into my mortgage.

I dropped near £30/mo on the interest, hoping to get that down to £40 in the next coming months. I also remortgage this year - which I am quite happy about! :)

    Hi!
Sorry for not posting, have been relatively busy - again my company has grown massively over the last few months and selling an average of 80 units per month, recurring, so life is much better in that respect, plenty of work and a lot more social now then I was, which is a bonus. Life is improving loads for me and my health is just getting better.

So, on my last post I had £144,900 on my outstanding balance - It's now down to £143,800 which is good. KMC my mortgage company phoned me and told me they're going to recalculate the amount I pay per month because I've made over £5k in overpayments which, I know everyone is going to say you should just keep what you've got, I get that but I'm putting enough in to warrant having a reduction.

My aim is that another 4 years and this thing will be paid off as I am still making a lot of progress. Within the last year and 4 month I've paid off nearly £11,000 (where I was only supposed to pay only £1300 off my capital), very happy times, I'm going to hit the £139,999 mark soon!! :)

I'm going to re-setup my standing order of £125 per week onto the mortgage, I have £3801 to pay to get into £139,999 and this is my aim!

So I'm putting odd amounts onto the mortgage at the moment in the hopes it does well, ie, I put £200 (as much as I can remember) on it yesterday and put an extra £100 on it this morning, I am really hoping my mortgage will be paid off shortly lol.

Just waiting for some more payments to come through with work then I'll put a bit more on it. I am aiming for £750 in total overpayment this month it seems as I'm already at (what I think) is £550. Just wanting to get rid of this massive £804.33 per month lol

I've overpaid a total of £533.13 this month, I'm at £143,599. I just had my windows 'upgraded' at home, it would appear we had some wickes special windows that was from 1995, we upgraded to triple glazing and they was fitted yesterday, what a change that made.

We woke up this morning with no condensation on the windows, which is the 1st time in 16 months we've had this. We found some problem with the facial of the house as well, so much natural causes in there, (staw, sticks, we think birds too) so going to call someone out to clear the blockages..

haha, you'll do it I am sure! :):)

new month new amount due: £143,490.13 total due. I've just put £90.14 on the mortgage now, my aim is for at least £500 this month again so around £410 to go! I just sold 30 units at work for £3k, hopefully, that trend continues this month, as soon as it hits my account I will be placing a fair amount on the account.

Also, looking to move the company again to a better location and get some more employees on! :)

So been a while since I have popped in on this thread, It's been a very long few months to say the least. We've cleared 13k total off this mortgage now, I've spoken to an advisor and we're going to 2% interest @ £555.84 per month. meaning my mortgage is around £230 cheaper when it all goes through.

I cannot seriously wait for this to happen. I haven't really put much onto the mortgage just clearing off old debt really..
