    8/14 AFDs for me tonight.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

12/22 please. Feeling utterly pants, so soaking in the bath, trying to sweat my germs out.

Forgot to say, lovely to see you back with us, Gien.

Thank Honeybear, it feels good to be back - kind of like putting on a comfy old cardigan.

Another AFD for me so 2/10 please Shaggy.

the nights are real drawing in now and we lit the Fire tonight because everyone felt chilly. I'm determined that this year won't end with a 2 month slide into increasingly heavy drinking culminating in Christmas being a complete overload !
    Trying to keep in budget.

Last year's Christmas was my first here and as December drew on, the posts became sparser and sparser. I think there was a point where I was the only poster three days in a row!

Looking for a bit of advice from you lovely lot!

Sooooo...Oh has admitted to having a drink problem. I knew I guess but putting a label on it seems to make it more real.

He's quite positive at the moment. Feels better for talking to me and is determined to quit. He's investigating new hobbies to give him a focus.

    Today is day 3.

What can I do to help??

    Hello

I'm very new to this myself. On day 4 AF. If your husband is a reader, he might find a book helpful...as I am. Craig Beck, Alcohol Lied to Me. It is on Amazon, Kindle...you can even download the PDF free on some sites. It changes the way you we feel about alcohol.

    No harm in trying.

    Best of luck
