So today I have
- purchased car tax for 12 monts - £130
- paid the next half term before and after school fees £833
- updated tax credit claim as a change in childcare provider has reduced my costs now only £894 a month
- walked to doctors 5 mile round trip
- walked girls to school, first time, this academic year as usually drop them on way to work
- changed bedding x4
- looked after dd3 as she's pretty unwell, hence why im not at work

I know, it was only yesterday that I was thinking about when DD3s 15 free hours come in Sept16 and actually relishing that my childcare costs will ONLY be £811 a month.
I pay £24.40 a day for before and afterschool care for my older girls.
DD3's nursery is £32 a day. I feel fortunate to only have a term time only contractHOME

Joking aside, tax credit subsidies are the only way to keep working, unfortunately.
Now I'm getting what I'm entitled to tax credit wise, its paying 70% of my childcare. So feel very lucky to have that.
It's also the reason I've gone down the lodger route as having a lodger is pretty tax efficient, it didn't make a difference to my income for TC puroses.HOME
