the wick trimmer is a very easy way to cut the wick to the 'perfect' length for burning and should be used before every burn to help it burn better. Would also recommend using their illumalid or shade every burn on large or medium jars to catch some of the soot.

    Thanks for this.
I have noticed a lot of soot around the neck of the jar.
    Will invest in a shade.
    Thanks for replying.

The thread title is "Yankee Candle offers" within "Quick Grabbit" section.

There is a more suitable section in the "Praise, Vents and Warnings" section of the forum for any Yankee complaints.

    Hey all,

Went to Watt Brothers on Friday last week & they had some large Yankee candles for £9.99.

Didn't have a massive range of 'flavours' though.

They had rose, frosting, ice cream & some others that I can't remember.

Also had an email from Clintons today to say all Yankee candles 50% off.

I was in Clintons (Edinburgh Cameron Toll) today and overheard the sales assistant say to another customer that all Yankee Candles (including gift sets) were half price until Sunday.
